TWICE is set to make their comeback in October, along with a celebration of their fifth year anniversary.

Back in August, rumours swirled that TWICE is preparing for possible comeback. In response to the reports, the group’s agency, JYP Entertainment, said that the details of the comeback will be revealed once they are confirmed.

On September 25, JYP Entertainment has confirmed that the KPop megastars are currently preparing for a comeback slated for October 26. “TWICE is making a comeback on October 26. They are currently focused on preparing for their new album,” a representative from the agency confirmed.

The upcoming comeback will be TWICE’s second release this year following the release of the chart-topping hit “MORE & MORE” earlier in June. The mini-album MORE & MORE sold over 563,000 copies, making it the best-selling album by a girl group, according to Gaon data.

Apparently, the upcoming comeback is not a repackage of the said mini album and fans are wondering what concept the group has to offer this time around. Fans are also ecstatic to hear that the girl group filmed their music video with another production company other than the usual NAIVE Production.

On the other hand, TWICE will be celebrating their fifth year of being in a group. The group was created through the survival show, Sixteen, which took place in 2015. The girls made their debut with their hit single “Like Ohh Ahh”, but gained more recognition with the track “Cheer Up” which was released in 2016. This song paved the way for TWICE to be known as one of the most successful girl groups in K-Pop.
