EXO’S CHANYEOL AND RED VELVET’S IRENE NAMED NEW PRADA AMBASSADORS

Chanyeol and Irene are among the few K-pop artists who possess the allure embodied by luxury brand Prada. Now, the high-end fashion house has confirmed through a Vogue Korea’s article that the two artists will be their new brand ambassadors!

Last September 17, all eyes were on Chanyeol and Irene after Vogue Korea revealed videos and photos linked to the brand’s Fall/Winter Season Campaign. In the October issue of the fashion magazine, the two KPop stars are each seen in a luxurious black and red photoshoot, both of them oozing with class and sophistication.

In the photos, Chanyeol perfectly portrays the keywords “surreal classic” while showing off his powerful and mature aura and charismatic gaze. Chanyeol is seen in sleek, modern suits with hints of extravagant colors and patterns, expressing the concept of “classical fantasy” to keep things fresh for his age. The idol rapper also matched his classical ensemble with ultra-luxurious, oversized handbags as perfect travel accessories for his busy schedule.

In April last year, Chanyeol celebrated the launch of Prada’s Spring/Summer 2019 menswear in Singapore. And, in November, he was invited to the store opening of Prada’s pop-up store in Seoul.

Meanwhile, Irene shows off her stunning visuals as she exquisitely portrays the keywords “surreal glamour”. In the photos, Irene wears iconic pieces from Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2020 women’s collection. The collection goes beyond the concept, further emphasizing the inherent strength and natural charm of women and reflecting the multifaceted side of femininity.

Last December 2019, Irene attended the Prada Dreamscape pop-up store. Several months ago, Irene posted a photo of herself sporting Prada outfits which made fans speculate that the idol had an ambassadorship in the works. Irene also made her Paris Fashion Week debut in March 2019 at a show for Prada’s subsidiary brand, Miu Miu. Additionally, Irene starred in the brand’s Girl in Miu Miu campaign.
