HALSEY DROPS NEW SINGLE “YOU SHOULD BE SAD”

With just a week to go ‘til her third album Manic arrives, Halsey has released another single, giving us another taste of the follow up to Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. Listen to “You should be sad” and check out its music video below:
Following the release, fans were quick to point out how the video, which had been directed by Colin Tilley and produced by Jamee Ranta, had Halsey channeling female artists from Christina Aguilera to Shania Twain and more.

“Xtina, Gaga, Carrie, and of course Shania, this was one loaded with nods to badass idols of mine,” expounds Halsey in a tweet.
“You should be sad” follows the previously released Manic singles “Finally // beautiful stranger,” “Graveyard,” “SUGA’s Interlude,” “clementine,” and “Without Me.”
