ACEL BISA SPREADS POSITIVITY AND HEALING WITH HER NEW SINGLE “MY CURE”

Though the past few years have undoubtedly been trying and downright crazy, it seems that nothing fazes the productivity and creative drive that singer-songwriter Acel Bisa has, having consistently released well-received singles in the past three years that feature her trademark sincere lyricism and knack for infectiously disarming melodies.

And just recently, Bisa released an all-new single “My Cure,” a lyrically uplifting ditty with an unmistakable 90s alt-rock vibe on all digital music platforms via Sony Music Entertainment Philippines. Equal parts vintage and refreshing, the track – arranged and sonically produced by guitar virtuoso Jack Rufo – is as infectious as it is meaningful.

Listen to it here:

Years ago, I discovered that my cure for sadness and depression was gratitude and being able to live with a sense of wonder,” Bisa shares, when asked about the overall inspiration and message behind the single, which has an unmistakable 90s alt-rock vibe to it. “Both of those traits changed my perspective and helped me appreciate the beauty of life.

Notably, the single’s artwork was created by her two sons, Tashi and Yeshi van Ommen.

’My Cure’ was actually supposed to be the title track of an album I’ve been wanting to release,” Bisa reveals, “but I decided to just go for it and release this single first…

I’ll be releasing a lyric video soon and I plan to release a live acoustic performance of the song through my youtube.com channel – but right now, I’m just excited and looking forward to performing it live.
