K-Pop girl group LOOΠΔ is back with fresh music, having released their third mini-album plus a bewitching music video for their title track!

LOOΠΔ is a 12-member girl group managed by Blockberry Creative that debuted as a full ensemble in 2018 with the extended play [+ +], along with their debut track, “Hi High”. Currently, the group has released three extended plays and one repackaged albums including the just released mini-album [12:00].

On September 17, LOOΠΔ dropped the exciting news to their fans when they announced that they will be releasing a new EP called [12:00]. The mini album follows the group’s second EP, [#] which was released earlier this year along with the hit title track, “So What”. [12:00] marks the group’s third EP and contains eight songs: ‘’12:00”, “Voice”, “Fall Again”, “Universe”, “Hide and Seek”, “OOPS!”, the English version of “Star”, and the title track “Why Not?”.

After creating unimaginable waves of change through [#], the 12-piece girl group discovered the coincidence between destiny and fate—thus, the creation of [12:00]. The mini-album aims to deliver a message that the group and their fans are always together. No matter where they are, whatever their status or nationality, they are all dignified and are worthy to earn freedom.

Meanwhile on October 19, the group released both the track and the music video for “Why Not?”. The music video gained much-deserved attention for its stunning and enchanting aesthetic, reaching 100,000 views just 16 hours after its release. The music video features not only the members of LOOΠΔ themselves but also ‘LOONAs from around the world,’ reflective of the album’s themes of unity and relatability.

“Why Not?” is an uptempo electro-pop song that speaks about being unique and free. The song begins charismatically and then transitions into an addictive hook with fun repeated sections. The track was composed by Will Simms, Sondre Nystrom, Julia Finnseter, and Ellen Berg, with lyrics by Hwang Yoo Bin. SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man participated in the production of the track.
