Brand-new tour [MADE] BANG the world again!

Korea’s legendary and most wanted artist “BIGBANG” announces their long awaited world tour targeting 1.5 million fans kicking off April 2015.

New singles to be released every month as the world tour continues.

BIGBANG, the most anticipated Korean artist group, is set to make a magnificent return to their fans with “BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE],” starting May 2015. After a long hiatus, BIGBANG’s comeback with the world tour and brand new songs is creating quite a stir among the fans all around the world.

After the first stops on April 25 and 26 in Seoul, the tour will begin worldwide. The artist will meet twice the number of fans from the last BIGBANG world tour with its again unprecedented production value. The world best promising production team includes LeRoy Bennett, who has previously worked with Prince, Paul McCartney, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna, and Ed Burke, a long-time videographer and performance director for Beyonce. These two will produce the tour as Co-Creative Directors and this international teamwork of world-class experts will make a mind-blowing spectacle of lighting and visual. With the most of the tour contents kept as a top secret and the pre-released trailer receiving over two millions views, fans around the world are expecting BIGBANG’s unforgettable and world-class performance.

In Seoul, BIGBANG performed most of their hit songs and also new singles ahead of the release date, which surprised 25,000 fans with excitement. Their first successful world tour “BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012” attracted 800,000 audiences in 24 cities and 12 countries through 49 incredible shows. Now, BIGBANG is set to break own record with BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE], reaching major cities globally.

BIGBANG, formed by YG Entertainment, is the hottest Korean artist group consisted of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri. Since their debut in 2006, BIGBANG has evolved and exerted their influences as the style icon of the era, widely worshipped by world-renowned artists and fashionistas both locally and internationally.

The music of BIGBANG garnered every bit of attention and received enormous recognition. Their official YouTube channel has accumulated over an amazing 1.2 billion views, among which their hottest hits “Fantastic Baby”, “Blue” and “Bad Boy” have accounted for more than 250 million views! Brand-new tour [MADE] plus new music BANG the world again!

The first announcement of BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE] includes major cities in China, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Jakarta. This tour will expand to other cities in Asia, Australia, North America, and beyond.

YG Entertainment also announced that BIGBANG will release new music on the 1st of every month between May and September. Since unreleased singles were already performed in Seoul, the excitement is exponentially growing on how BIGBANG could reveal the first performance of new singles in the upcoming show of the tour. BIGBANG’s new entire album release date is expected to coincide with the tour schedule.

International Production Staff

Leroy Bennett, Creative Director and Production Designer of BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE], is famous for his lighting and production design work with numerous awards as the Designer of the Year. Bennett’s work began with artists like Prince and Scorpions in the 80’s and 90’s. Nowadays, his musical and architectural vision have been delivered through tours of artists such as Beyonce, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Rammstein, and Rihanna. To name some of his notable work: Maroon5 World Tour 2015, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On The Run Tour 2014, Nine Inch Nails Tension Tour 2013, and Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett Cheek to Cheek Tour 2015.

Ed Burke, Co-Creative Director and Visual Director of BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE], has been Beyonce’s videographer for seven years. Critics highly appraise his successful work in discovering and delivering Beyonce’s talent through screens. His close relationship with the artist gave him access to capture some of the footages that no other directors could. His famous work includes Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On The Run Tour 2014, 7/11 Music Video, and the 57th Grammy Awards 2015 Live Performance.

The BIGBANG Band continues their work on this tour. Originally just a motely crew of musicians, the members of what would become the band first met when Gil Smith and Adrian Porter brought in a team of musicians for their recent project: BIGBANG’s Alive World Tour.

Through their success in tackling a new music genre in a new environment, the group developed a strong bond and soon established themselves in the public’s eyes as a full-fledged band. As a result, what started as a short-lived collaboration became a long lasting partnership. For the members of the Band Six, the group became a channel to further each other’s pursuits as well as a way to have fun, enjoy music, and share their knowledge and music with people all over the world. The band members are Gil Smith, Adrian Porter, Justin Lyons, Bennie Rodgers, Dante Inferno, and Omar Dominik and have supported artists like BIGBANG and 2NE1.
