Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, Philippines, in partnership with Bacchus International Inc., invites you to an unforgettable weekend in Boracay Island overflowing with the finest food, wine and leisure options offered exclusively by “Reservations in Paradise” from November 7 to 9.

This three-day epicurean journey is now on its fourth season. The festivity will feature a series of wine pairings in surprise venues around the resort. Featured wines will come from the well-loved wine houses Marchesi Antinori and Champagne Billecart-Salmon. These renowned wineries have provided us their carefully selected collection of wines, while our international chefs will create innovative dishes to enhance the beverage flavors.

Expect an elegant feast for the senses on the first night, offering a delightful medley of gastronomy and music through an intimate performance by the sensational 2CELLOS, followed by an equally glorious seaside dinner and after-dinner party.

Your weekend itinerary

Day 1: Friday, November 7

Your exciting journey begins today when you arrive at Caticlan. The resort staff will meet you at the arrival hall and escort you to the resort’s exclusive Mabuhay Center lounge where you will board our private speedboat for a 15-minute cruise to Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa.

Upon arrival at the resort’s boat jetty, you will be ushered to your room or villa. You may enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Everyone will convene for cocktails before sunset, then ushered to an oceanfront setting where 2CELLOS will perform their compelling artistry. The concert will be followed by an indulgent plated dinner paired with our exquisite selection of wines. Surrender to an endlessly wonderful night as the party continues with cigars and a nightcap under the stars, on shore.

Day 2: Saturday, November 8

Start the day with a champagne brunch in the company of 2CELLOS. Have a lovely morning affair with a wide spread of fresh breakfast selections and mid-day favourites available at live stations whilst enjoying a free flow of champagne in a relaxed environment.


Spend the rest of the day with your choice of leisure activity. Have a spa treatment at CHI, The Spa, play golf at Fairways & Bluewater Resort, take an introductory dive course or be a chef! Join the cooking class with one of the resort’s master chefs.

Day 3: Sunday, November 9

At the end of your gourmet island retreat is a Farewell Breakfast set in a dramatic location. When you depart from the resort, we hope you have experienced one of the most memorable vacations and bring home with you a new Boracay story of tasteful wonders.


Young Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, together known as 2CELLOS, have achieved sensational success by taking the cello to a new level. Their playing style has broken down the boundaries between different genres of music. They are best known for re-imagining pop and rock tunes performed on their cellos.




2CELLOS rose to fame in 2011 when their version of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” took the world by storm. The YouTube video became a massive viral sensation leading to a record deal with Sony Masterworks and an invitation to join Sir Elton John on his worldwide tour. They have released two albums – 2CELLOS and IN2ITION – which are available on Sony Music Masterworks.

They were the first instrumentalists to ever be featured on “Glee” and have appeared on several primetime talk shows in USA. The duo has collaborated with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age and George Michael. They have also worked with T-Bone Burnett and Humberto Gatica, and legendary film composer James Newton Howard.

In consultation with Vernon Go of PULP Live World Production, Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa exclusively presents the first performance of 2CELLOS on Philippine shores.
