COVER STORY: SHOW US DEM HORNS!

While people are counting the days until Death Angel hits the annual PULP Summer Slam, here’s something to tide everyone over. PULP Publisher Vernon Go scored an exclusive interview with the legendary all-Filipino thrash metal band, particularly its most popular member, lead guitarist Rob Cavestany. Read on about our boss’ flashbacks to when he was 16, and you’ll be quite entertained.

PSYCHOS, POKPOKS, METAL, ANGELINA JOLIE, TAE

Hey, most of the above are favorite PULP coffee break topics! The members of hilarious hard rock act Giniling Festival are the new kings of “toilet” humor, and they play it to the hilt with their self-titled debut. In this interview, the band reveals the details of their misdeeds and offers some surprising insights between lowbrow jokes. Just be warned though: this is not for the weak of stomach.

OUR FAVORITE METAL BAND

PULP Editor-In-Chief Joey Dizon piques the mind of Cavite-based metal act Sin. The underground heroes, which placed runner-up in last year’s Philippine Edition of the World Battle of the Bands behind Queso, pledged their allegiance to the pure love of metal and promised to create a whole lot of prove to be the nicest chaps we’ve ever met, Dizon decides to pick out a cute title for the story.
