INSIDE THIS ISSUE:

“THE HEAVIEST DAY…” OUR ASSES!!!

That’s what we can almost hear from the thousands of disappointed fans after they received word that Slipknot cancelled its performance in Manila for the PULP Freakshow this November 13th. We decided to both desperately theorize about the ill-fated gig and ask those involved to fire away.

SHE’LL SET THE WORLD ON FIRE

Don’t call her the “former Mojofly frontwoman” anymore: with the release of her first full-length album, young pop-rock princess Kitchie Nadal has proven to all and sundry her worth as a solo artist.

FOR THE MASSES, NOT DICTATED BY IT

That’s what members of Spongecola feel about their music and the reactions it gets from the present critics. With their debut full length Palabas out and a distribution deal under Sony, Chris, Armo, Yael, and Gosh (clever names huh?) aren’t exactly preparing to fight for this place in this industry.

NO TIME FOR LOSERS, ‘CAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS…

Milk ‘N Money, Sunflower Day Camp, and Mayonnaise didn’t just win some inter-barangay sing and dance festival… each outfit bested would-be contenders to the mainstream rock throne in corporate-sponsored competitions handled by big players like RX 93.1, Good Year, and Red Horse Beer.

THE RETURN OF PULP SKIN

Conan. Ninjas. A horny Demon. A dragon. A scantily clad babe. Heavy metal thunder.
