INSIDE THIS ISSUE:

DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR

Rock ‘n’ Roll audiences become tougher and rougher and both record labels and bands decide that musicians can do just about everything for themselves these days. But Sandwich charges on, with Thanks To The Moon’s Gravitational Pull, and thinks optimistic.

BRILLIANT SINGER… ESPECIALLY AFTER A FEW DRINKS

Siobhan Pettit shoots for adding herself to the list of impressive Irish talents like U2, Bob Geldoff, The Corrs, Boyzone, and Westlife, with her latest album of rendered jazz classics Long Ago Tomorrow.

HARDCORE – NEW YORK STYLE

Madball is back and out with a new disk aptly titled The N.Y.H.C EP on the Thorp Records Label. PULP writer Joey Dizon got the chance to interview his hardcore hero Freddy Cricien through the email, and asked questions most Madball fans would want to know the answers to.

COMBOS ON THE RUN

We originally wanted to do pieces about bands and/or projects of ex-Eraserheads members. But as the beers and the conversation flowed into the micro cassette recorders and into the notebooks of PULP’s team of writers, Cambio, The Mongol, Twisted Halo, Squid 9, and Kamon Kamon appeared more than just the offshoots of the local Fab Four. They were all as great… in their own right.
