IN THIS ISSUE: A DECADE AND A HALF OF TOP-CALIBER AGGRESSION

SLAPSHOCK ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF KINSE KALIBRE

Arguably the most successful of the millennium’s wave of local nu metal bands, Slapshock are still the reigning kings of local rap-metal, and return with an even more powerful album of mosh-pit anthems. Appearing for the nth time on the cover of PULP Magazine, it’s really no wonder as to how and why they are still one of the country’s biggest concert draws, despite the years that have come and gone. PULP Editor-In-Chief Joey Dizon, himself a long-time acquaintance of the band, catches up and talks about life, family matters and keeping the flame alive with Jamir, Chi, Lean and Lee, just as their latest album explodes all over the nation.

Also in this issue: Maine-iacs! This one’s for you! After a successful show here in Manila courtesy of PULP Live Productions, we’ve allotted a special 32-page section just for all of you fans out there who still can’t stop shrieking and smiling long after the band took their flight out. The Maine über-fan Sarah Bermundo recounts the fun and excitement and riddles us with everything The Maine, so all you fans better have this issue at home. Meanwhile, exclusive coverage of PULP Live Presents: The Cranberries Live In Manila is also included in this special issue.
