IN THIS ISSUE: THE GIRL STILL WANTS TO HAVE FUN!

CYNDI LAUPER CONQUERS MANILA WITH HER TIMELESS HITS

Though she was primarily at the height of her career during the rich musical decade known as the 80s, the woman behind the biggest hits such as “True Colors,” “Time After Time,” and the undying party anthem “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” proves that both her music and her talents as both songwriter and performer have shattered the trends and boundaries throughout the years. Damn right – CYNDI LAUPER is just as relevant and at the top of her game in the millennium as she was decades ago. And she had the successful show months later to prove it.

Of course, we wouldn’t dare let our heavy metal brethren down, so we also threw in the exclusive footage from PULP Presents: Children of Bodom Live in Manila. Parents, do you know where your children were?!!

ALSO IN THIS ISSUE:

There’s a little bit of everything in this issue, as we also feature the fanatical reception of the Elfs… the Super Junior Elfs that is, as PULP chronicles the events before and after the screening of the Super Show 3 in 3D. Meanwhile, alternative music darlings UP DHARMA DOWN tread the lines of genius and madness with their third full-length album. Don’t forget to check out the PULP Staff’s lists of… well, everything rock music. Trust us. ☠
