RUNNING MAN ‘A DECADE OF LAUGHTER’ TOUR IN MANILA

We’re putting an end to three years of waiting for the most anticipated show of the decade as PULP Live World proudly brings the cast of the longest-running variety show on SBS Channel, RUNNING MAN to the Philippines for a grand fan meeting show – RUNNING MAN ‘A DECADE OF LAUGHTER’ TOUR IN MANILA happening on April 1, 2023 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Over 10 years after its pilot episode on July 2010 on SBS, the Sunday variety show RUNNING MAN has successfully conquered the South Korean TV waves with its outstanding comedic acts and games that brought each viewer to different spots across Korea and other countries. It first started as an “urban action variety”, a TV genre with physical and mental games that take place in an urban environment. Immediately after, it became famous for its various games which are undeniably hyped and replicated by its fans worldwide.

The show is headlined by the cast members namely Korea’s renowned MC Yu Jae Seok, comedian Jee Seok Jin, singer and actor Kim Jong Kook, actress Song Ji Hyo, singer and MC Haha, comedian and MC Yang Se Chan, and actress Jeon So Min. Their individuality and different quirks add flavor to the show which most viewers love.

With over 500 episodes, RUNNING MAN has adapted to the trends throughout the years. Its segments previously highlighted Korean Culture and Tourism however, it has also incorporated global culture and inspiration into its format. With episodes inspired by Hollywood films and touring across Asia, RUNNING MAN is considered a global TV phenomenon that encapsulates worldwide cultures into a grand variety show.

More than that, the show, with the efforts of each staff behind it and as well as the members, has victoriously garnered recognitions from numerous award-giving bodies such as the 16th SBS Entertainment Awards Program of the Year Award in 2022, 2019 StarHub Favorite Variety Show and Best Entertainment Program at the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards, and Best Teamwork Award at the 12th SBS Entertainment Awards to name a few.
