PENTAGON GETS FIRST-EVER MUSIC SHOW WIN WITH “DAISY”

Years after Pentagon debuted in 2016, the time has come for the boys to win their first ever music show trophy. Tearful and emotional after achieving this milestone, the group’s title track “Daisy” triumphed against Weki Meki and Weeekly with a score of 8,470 in the recent episode of SBS MTV’s The Show.

The members of the group expressed their joy by thanking their fans who have always believed that they could make it to the top. Their leader,  Hui, was filled with gratitude: “It has been four years since debut and we finally got our very first win. It was challenging and definitely not a quick one. To our Universe, who always did their best to help and has remained with our side to help us, we love you so much, and thank you so much!” The leader also thanked his company, Cube Entertainment, whom he also called family.

Fans loved to see an adorable gesture by Shinwon as he called Jinho, one of their fellow members currently serving in the military, asking if he was seeing their first win. After they gave individual speeches to thank their fans in different languages, it was evident how all of the members were extremely emotional, especially Kino who couldn’t stop crying throughout the encore.
