Gojira are streaming their 2017 performance at the Red Rocks for a limited time. This is the first time the French metallers are sharing this full set at the iconic amphitheater in Colorado, which also happens to be their 1,000th show.
“An incredible memory for us in a breathtaking landscape,” says the band as they describe this particular show. “We kept this baby under our belt this whole time waiting for a special moment to release it.”
The show took place on May 11, 2017 with Gojira on tour with Opeth and Devin Townsend Project. This was in the middle of their tour cycle for the 2016 album Magma. Watch it below while you can:
“After witnessing the disintegration of our Summer Tours 2020, we thought it was a good moment to give a little something away before getting back on track,” adds the band, saying that they are currently working to reschedule a tour to take place in 2021. The band also reveals that they are in the process of completing their upcoming seventh album.
