With just days to go ’til Tiny Moving Parts Live in Manila 2020, we’re ready to remove the caution tape wrapped around our brain and enjoy a show full of energy!

Happening on February 9, 2020 at the Skydome, SM City North EDSA, the show will be the Tiny Moving Parts’ second time performing in the Philippines, following a memorable first show in 2018. Once again presented by PULP Live World and Skesh Entertainment, the upcoming concert is made even more exciting by the prospect of hearing brand new music from the band.

The Minnesota trio (composed of brothers Matt and Bill Chevalier, along with their cousin Dylan Mattheisen) released their latest album breathe just last September 2019 through their new label Hopeless Records, indeed breathing new life into their brand of music: an emotionally-driven, distinct blend of math rock, pop punk, and emo. breathe is the band’s fifth proper full-length record, following the 2018 fan-favorite Swell.

I just feel as time goes on that everything means more and more,” shares frontman Dylan Mattheisen in a press release, opening up about the themes surrounding their new music.

So this record covers things we’ve talked about in the past – the fear of dying, losing someone through moving away or the passing of someone – but it concentrates more on the positives, and being happy things happened instead of sad they’re taken away. It’s about finding that mindset to keep on powering through.

With the excitement surrounding the new album and the band’s upcoming Manila comeback, PULP Magazine asked Dylan, Billy, and Matt to each share a song off the new album that they’re excited to play live. Find out if you’re looking forward to hearing the same tracks!
