By: Paolo Buted

UK Electronic Metalcore band Cabin Boy Jumped Ship is steadily making waves in the metal scene with their unique mix of electronic and heavy dubstep beats beautifully intertwined with their heavy hitting metal riffs. With a new album and a growing fanbase, these rising stars are ready to make their way to Philippine shores to deliver a performance like no other.

Cabin Boy Jumped Ship saw their humble beginnings in 2013 in the city of Leicestershire. Comprised of vocalist Conor Peek, drummer Reece Miller, guitarist Jay Hillyer, and bassist Jayke Davenport, they independently released EP’s Voices and Pathways, gaining the attention of UK record label Bleeding Nose Records.

Since then, the band’s momentum has only continued as they have toured around the world with heavyweights like We Came As Romans, Eskimo Callboy, Silverstein, and Comeback Kid, in addition to doing collaborations with the likes of Fronz of Atilla, James Harrison of Oceans Ate Alaska, and Richard Sjunnesson of Unguided. Now, Cabin Boy Jumped Ship are ready to show the world why they’re a band to be reckoned through their newest album release, The Heartless

Philippine fans are in for a treat as the group kicks off their Asian tour with nine stops in the country. Performing with them are UK metalcore folks AVARUS!
