With their newly released music video for “Light Year” created by Miguel Barbosa, The Story So Far have given us a glimpse of NASA’s InSight Mission with scenes filmed right from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

InSight  is the first robotic explorer designed to study the crust, mantle, and core of Mars and should “help scientists understand the formation and early evolution of all rocky planets, including Earth.” It is also the space agency’s first mission venturing into the study of Mars’ deep interior. InSight landed safely on Mars in November 2018.

“Light Year” is taken from The Story So Far’s latest album Proper Dose, released last September 2018 through Pure Noise Records. The album also features previously released singles “Upside Down” and the title track “Proper Dose.”
