BODABIL: Pride Edition, featuring Antoinette Noir

Makati City, Philippines — After our first (more than) sold-out run in February of this year, Burlesque PH, B-Side Productions, Pineapple Lab, and the Hernandez Brothers are happy to bring back Bodabil, our salute to Philippine Vaudeville Theatre.

This June, we are paying tribute to Pride Month and letting our rainbow flags fly high. Experience a variety show like no other. Bodabil is a night that’s sure to entertain, delight, and inspire.

Bodabil will feature a diverse range of performers featuring the sexy striptease artists of Burlesque PH and Baklesque PH and the saucy beats of The Hernandez Brothers. Also featured are talented guest performers: The Powerpuff Hoes and DJ Mico Espina.

Bodabil will take place in Pineapple Lab: “an arts and performance hub dedicated to finding innovative ways to showcase the works of Filipino art makers, international artists, and collaborators. Located in Barangay Poblacion in Makati City, Pineapple Lab situates itself in the heart of one of Metro Manila’s oldest historic districts and center of business and entertainment.” (pineapplelab.ph)

Burlesque PH is the Philippines’ premiere brand for burlesque performances, education, and merchandise dedicated to building awareness and development of the art of tease. We are a group of sophisticated and whimsical individuals who see and interpret beauty through theatrical and empowering striptease.

Headliner and co-producer Antoinette Noir is a burlesque performer, costumier, and corsetry enthusiast. Her style is inspired by vintage striptease, history, fantasy, and avant-garde fashion. A member of Burlesque PH since 2016, she has performed in various venues in Metro Manila including the Power Mac Centre, Pineapple Lab, Finders Keepers, Dulo, and 20:20. She also headlined and co-produced the first Bodabil show last February 2018 with Burlesque PH. She is desire, she is decadence, she is fantasy. She’ll have your cake and eat it, too.
