Morbid Angel is out to disturb with their latest music video “Garden Of Disdain.” Along with the release of the video, the band writes:

“Remember when music videos opened eyes and minds? Remember when music videos said something? Remember when music videos were provocative to the point of chaos-inducing reactions? Be prepared… because the new video for Morbid Angel’s ‘Garden of Disdain’ from the album ‘Kingdoms Disdained’ is going to stir the modern-day hornet’s nest.”

The video for the “Kingdoms Disdained” cut was directed by Nader Sadek, who, vocalist Steve Tucker says, “does some of the most interesting and dark visual art that I have ever seen.”

Sadek in turn explains his intention for the video: “My intention is to create a visual parallel to the song, a theme which repeats, yet within the loop-lay textures are controlled twists and turns. It was a bonus that I had the opportunity to use Sumerian iconography as well as obscure symbols of the pre-ancient past such as the Merkaba, a galaxy-roaming vessel.”
