With Confidence are ‘Taking a Step Back from Touring’ Following Sexual Misconduct Allegations

With Confidence made the headlines over the past several days after accusations of sexual misconduct against two of their members, guitarist Luke Rockets (who has since been kicked out of the band) and vocalist/bassist Jayden Seeley surfaced.

First, someone came forward through a now-deleted post to share a story involving Luke Rockets who made sexual advances against then-underage friend who maintained anonymity. The post, which consisted of screenshots of a conversation Luke had with the victim, quickly made the rounds and the Australian band didn’t take long to respond to these allegations.

In a statement made November 13th, the band announced that Luke was no longer a member of With Confidence. The Hopeless Records act also changed their display photo on Facebook to a photo of the three remaining members—drummer Josh Brozzesi, guitarist Iñigo Del Carmen, and Jayden.

With Confidence then released a follow-up statement sharing further thoughts on the situation:

Shortly after the sexual misconduct allegations broke out, With Confidence had also been dropped from Knuckle Puck’s headlining tour and didn’t get to close out the tour’s remaining six dates with Movements and Homesafe.

In a Tweet, Josh said that he and Iñigo were aware of these more recent allegations:

Luke Rockets has yet to make a statement of his own to address the allegations made against him. Meanwhile, With Confidence announced November 16th that they are “taking a break from touring” in light of the situation.

There hasn’t been a new update from the band since.
